I love how this pillow box turned out.  I have the template for you   I suggest that you print the template onto the paper you will be working with (print on the reverse side, OK?)  Don’t want any accidents there!  Also…please fill the box with a gift card etc, BEFORE putting the ribbon all the way around and throught the hole for a double knot!   Here is the recipe for this box:
Paper: Stella Ruby Basic Grey, Mellow Moss (scallop punch) I raised the scallop using one large square dimensional which helped hold it in place to tie the ribbon!  PUNCH THE HOLES FIRST THOUGH!
Ink:Mellow Moss
Stamps: Kitchen Sink “Pretty Petals”
Accessories: Cuttlebug Flower embossing folder, Cropadile punch (large size.  Then make a DOUBLE knot on each side and trim away excess) Michaels chocolate grosgrain ribbon, tape or favorite adhesive, bronze letters found at Joann  Fabrics and held up using a sall square dimensional on each letter.  (Joann scrap essentials) $6.99 for 36 letters.

OK…Nobel Prizes:  Funny how I was talking about the environment yesterday, and I woke up to hear that Al Gore has won the Nobel Peace Prize and will be sharing the award with his panel of experts.  Also on an interesting note, the German who won as half of a team for the Nobel Prize for Physics, Peter Grünberg, is from the small city we do our exchange program with.  For those of you who don’t know, my husband is a German teacher,  and we have an exchange program with the city of Jülich which is close to Aachen and Köln (Cologne).  He lives and works in Jülich at the Forschungszentrum ( a really big science center) that our students got to visit this summer and do some fantastic experiments.  I just thought that was so amazing!  Of course if you hear the phone interview with him, he is a typical understated German, who will not boast about any of his accomplishments.  It is a very interesting phone interview of only three minutes if you want to take a listen, you can go to their official website here.
