Stampin Up's! Glass Art Project (NEW)

    • Well, Good, Morning, Crafters..... and Stampers.... I hope all is well with you all! I would like to share with you some of Stamping Up! New, New Craft Ideas,That I just got and was released as of TODAY!! Yay! Starting off with, the making a difference for over 25 years catalog . I just opened up now and glancing through it as we speak. I first will start off with a Do It Yourself! Project. Of course we always do, lol wright? The project is Glass Art. The How To is as followed.....                                                                                                                                                   Wash your vase and let it dry completely before starting.                                        Mix White acrylic paint with Stampin ink, cheap acrylic paint will work just fine.                                                                                                       The amount of ink you use will depend how bold you want your color to be. I have used four parts paint to one part ink.                                                                                                                                                                    Pour the tinted paint onto the clean vase and slowly roll it around until the inside is completely coated. turn the vase upside-down for about 5 minutes so the paint can drip out. To dry the vase quickly, put into a cold oven and turn it to 325 degrees, bake it for about 10 minutes, then turn the heat off and let the vase cool in the oven so it doesn't crack. You may even let your vase air dry, but it might take longer. The paint is not waterproof, so make sure you don't fill the vase with water. So that it can open you up to lot's of creative options. you can create designer series paper flowers. make one vase or variety of different ones to give for a gift. You can even  make a set for a table for a room in your home. This is so Inexpensive and a nice way to decor with some new colors in any room, or a pretty decor gift to give. Have fun! Denise
